Ohio Child Support

I’m not sure why the amounts are allowed to get so high.  But the time in jail is pretty amazing, certainly not California’s 20-40 days.

Failure to pay support

YOUNGSTOWN — A dad who owes $18,229 in support for three children is going to prison for two years for violating his probation by failing to report to his probation officer and failing to make child-support payments. Judge Maureen A. Sweeney of Mahoning County Common Pleas Court revoked probation and imposed the time Friday on Daron Little, 41, of Choice Court. Judge Sweeney had placed Little on five years’ probation last June after he pleaded guilty to two counts of nonsupport of dependents. The judge warned him then that if he were to violate probation, she would send him to prison.

One Response to “Ohio Child Support”

  1. To the thousands of mothers out there who suffer and whose children suffer from lack of support, this is what you to get the support you need. When fathers understand that they will go to prison or pay, most will pay. You can bet your boots that when this guy gets out, he will never miss another payment.
